HST 3387 - HISTORY OF EAST ASIA Traditional cultures and institutions of China and Japan and their roles in Korea and Southeast Asia; the role of Western powers in China’s development; post-war changes; United States foreign policy in relation to the Far East; and the emergence of Communist China and Modern Japan are discussed.
Prerequisites & Notes: Prerequisite: One history course or permission of instructor.
