SOC 1121 - CONTEMPORARY SOCIAL PROBLEMS A survey of the major problems in contemporary society with special attention to the major paradigms (conflict, functionalist, interactionist) that are used to interpret the formation of social policy and social movement. Special focus is on social and economic justice and populations at risk globally and locally.
