In addition to the B.S. in Criminal Justice Administration, the CJA Program offers the Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration.  Our A.S. majors take the same classes, as our B.S. students.  They are eligible to join the same criminal justice organizations and national honor society, take the same tours, and attend the same special presentations.  Many of our two-year students develop the academic skills and perseverance to transfer to our baccalaureate program and graduate with no loss of credits.

Program Outcomes

A CJA student completing an A.S. degree at Mansfield University will be able to:

  • Demonstrate a general knowledge of the structure and operation of the American Criminal Justice System.
  • Understand the historical development of the various criminal justice agencies within the United States.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the current issues facing law enforcement, courts, and corrections.
