NUR 3201 - CARE OF PATIENTS ACROSS THE LIFESPAN WITH COMMON CHRONIC HEALTH PROBLEMS This course focuses on the concepts and skills associated with chronic care needs of the individual across the lifespan. Also included are common mental health concepts, and therapeutic communication techniques used in a variety of health care settings. An introduction to community health care concepts is also presented. Students will have the ability to learn basic invasive skills that are required in the care of the patient.
Prerequisites & Notes: Take BSC 1121, BSC 1122, NUR 1001, NUR 2001, NUR 2201, NUR 2501, NUR 2601, AND NUR 2701.
Credits: 7cr Notes: BSN majors only.
