SWK 3301 - HUMAN BEHAVIOR AND THE SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT I This course provides foundation knowledge of human behavior and the social environments as a basis for direct practice with individuals, families and groups. It includes theoretical and empirical knowledge of system interactions with people’s biological, sociological, cultural and psychological development across the life span. It
examines the ways that social systems promote or deter people in maintaining or achieving health and well-being.
