MA 1125 - INTRODUCTORY STATISTICS

A survey of basic statistical methods for analyzing data. Topics include descriptive statistics, probability, sampling, point and interval estimation, hypothesis tests, linear regression, correlation, and non-parametric tests. Successful completion of this course, along with MA 2203, may be used to fulfill the PDE mathematics requirement.
