PHL 3390 - EXISTENTIALISM Analyzes this twentieth-century movement which emphasizes human uniqueness and value. Existential themes include freedom, commitment, self-determination, and authenticity. Major philosophers considered are Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Heidegger, and Sartre.
