GEL 3322 - HISTORICAL GEOLOGY A study of earth history that includes introductory through advanced topics related to geologic time, stratigraphy, paleontology, plate tectonics, and structural geology. Students will apply their new knowledge to solve a number of field, computer, and classroom-based problems. A special emphasis will be placed upon the application of historical geology to mineral resource and geologic hazard assessments.
Prerequisites & Notes: GEL 1121.
Credits: 3 cr.
