ED 5510 - Fostering Adolescent Content Literacy Investigates current and foundational research on adolescent learning theory as it applies to literacy development and acquisition. Provides proven core strategies that develop lifelong literacy skills and allow students to make meaning through interaction with varied forms of text, including non-print media, with the goal of enhancing student’s content comprehension and access to vocabulary.
