CJA 4475 - SERIAL MURDER A broad overview of serial, spree and mass murder in the U.S. during the 20th century. Examines the myths and social construction of serial murder, FBI involvement, crime scene analysis, the organized and disorganized offender, and crime scene, history of serial murder in the U.S., construction of profiling, and behavior typology, and also examines offender typology (gender, race and team serial killers).
Prerequisites & Notes: Take CJA 1100, 2200, & 2201.
