NUR 3391 - THE PATHOPHYSIOLOGIC AND PHARMACOLOGIC BASES OF NURSING PRACTICE I This course examines pathophysiological concepts of altered health states of selected body systems along with appropriate pharmacologic management and nursing implications. Includes basic principles of pharmacology; stress and adaptation; cell injury, aging and death; alterations in respiratory function, acid-base balance, fluids and electrolytes, renal function, the endocrine system, and the gastrointestinal system.
Prerequisites & Notes: NUR 3270, NUR 3271, BSC 1121, BSC 1122 and BSC 3271 or BI 3371.
Credits: 3 cr.
