RTH 2205 - RESPIRATORY DISEASE

This course provides the respiratory therapy student with the pulmonary disease knowledge base necessary to implement therapist-driven protocols and provide appropriate care to patients. Topics
include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, restrictive pulmonary disorders, infectious pulmonary disease, pulmonary vascular disease, and pulmonary pathology associated with trauma.

Prerequisites & Notes: RTH 1101 and RTH 1102 with a grade of at least “C” in each.

Credits: 3 cr.
