NUR 5570 - Nursing Leadership and Administration I

This course provides the graduate student with the opportunity to apply the concepts learned in prerequisite courses to nursing. The content focuses on healthcare organizations, the forces that are changing healthcare, managing and improving the quality of healthcare, models of care, and regulatory issues. Through mutual agreement, the student and course instructor choose an area of concentration and clinical practice site appropriate for meeting course and student goals. Eighty hours of practicum are required.
