XRT 1108 - MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY FOR THE RADIOGRAPHER Students will be introduced to the origins of medical terminology and the word-building system used in the medical field. The words abbreviations, and symbols used in the medical environment will be discussed. An orientation to the understanding of radiologic orders and interpretation of diagnostic reports will be addressed through the related terminology.
Prerequisites & Notes: Prerequisite: XRT 1101, BSC 1121 and MA 1128. Prerequisites or Co-requisites: BSC 1122, XRT 3301, XRT 1102 , and XRT 1107.
