SWK 3320 - GERONTOLOGY Provides students from a variety of careers (such as social work and psychology) with an introduction to gerontology. Emphasizes a person-in-environment perspective to interacting with older persons and includes a practice-based component. Provides an opportunity for students to practice interaction skills with older persons. Offers current implications of aging in our complex, and increasingly older, modern society.
Prerequisites & Notes: Prerequisite: SOC 1101.
Credits: 3 cr.
