PSY 3330 - DRUGS AND BEHAVIOR


Examines the history, use, and abuse of psychoactive drugs. The course focuses on the neurobiological basis, clinical applications, side effects, and abuses of a variety of drugs used for treating anxiety, mood, and thought disorders, as well as those drugs commonly abused, such as sedatives, stimulants, opiates, and hallucinogens.

Prerequisites & Notes: Prerequisite: PSY 1101.

Credits: 3 cr. General Education Requirement: Information Literacy
