PSC 3311 - SOCIAL AND POLITICAL PHILOSOPHY The analysis of philosophical and ethical arguments presupposed in social and political discourse. Topics include liberty and its limits, human rights, economic and social justice, the nature of political obligation and disobedience. Emphasis is on evaluating philosophical theories from both contemporary and historical sources.
Prerequisites & Notes: Prerequisites: PHL 2201, PHL 2202, or permission of instructor.
Credits: 3 cr.
